Annette E. Morton is an Ordained Minister and ministry leader of Covered Woman Ministries, which began as a Facebook page in September 2015, based on her book, Transference of Coverings: Understanding the Role of a Man Over a Woman's Life, released in 2008.
Annette is a visionary who is blessed by God with many interests, gifts and talents. A singer, she has always enjoyed music, since birth according to her mother, and loves art, combining writing and drawing for many school, ministry and professional projects over the years.
While in elementary school, she developed a passion for reading, often volunteering in the school library just to be near books to learn whatever she could. Because of Annette's love of reading, she began much of her professional artistic and writing journey as God-taught and Holy Spirit-led in many of her passions, with a desire for excellence and attention to detail.
In the early nineties, Annette developed a love for computer graphic art and in 2015, began pursuing the idea of photography as a regular hobby as a way to relax and admire the beauty of God around her.
Annette writes poetry, Christian non-fiction teachings and books, songs, and also includes technical and business writing, website maintenance, and graphic design in her full-time Federal employment as a Management Program Analyst. Annette completed various writing, webmaster, graphic art and desktop publishing training and received certificates, recognition and monetary awards for her design projects from her employer through the years. After receiving her Manicuring diploma from Baltimore Studio of Hair Design School of Cosmetology, Annette has been a Maryland State Licensed Nail Technician since 1993. Annette has also been an active member of the Black Writers’ Guild of Maryland, Inc. (BWG) and a member of the Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT).
